Pilgrimage Walk4water halfway North Cape – Santiago

(24 September 2013) Stefan Pfeiffer, who is doing a pilgrimage by walking from North Cape in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, passed the halfway milestone. He walked for nearly three month and over 3400 kilometres. With another three months and 3200 kilometres to go he expects to arrive in Santiago by Christmas 2013.

His pilgrimage aims to promote the human right to water and sanitation for all. It also aims to raise awareness about the millions of people that still lack access to clean water or sanitation and on the importance to protect our precious water resources for future generations. He started his pilgrimage end of June at North Cape. He is walking in Germany now and will cross the border to Luxembourg at Schengen next week on or around 7 October and continue his journey into France.

We support this pilgrimage and we wish our pilgrim a good journey and a safe arrival in Santiago by Christmas!
